They say a picture is worth a thousand words, or in this case, a thousand books, so...
Coming at a hefty 4 lbs per book, that is 4,000 pounds (approx 1700 kg) of Armizare goodness now in our warehouse. So we can finally say, thank goodness, they are here! And all because of YOU!
Now what?
This weekend we will begin packing orders for shipment next week. USA orders will go Priority Mail and *may* arrive in time for Christmas (USPS won't guarantee orders after the 19th, so we will try to have as many out as possible by then), international orders (sent First Class Intl) probably will not.
Now, for top tier contributors, your orders will actually arrive a little later. We apologize for that, but the reason is good: we are shipping books this weekend to Tom so he can sign them; then they head off to you.
(Note. for our Niccolo d'Este contributors -- we are also still waiting for the color edition of Armizare to arrive; we should have details on that early next week.)
Posters and spiral Sala d'Arme editions are ready to go, so it's time I stop typing and start packing!

Happy Cyber Monday! Rather than try to get you to buy something new, let's talk about something you already purchased!
As I write this, all copies of Volume One are somewhere in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, heading towards San Diego. Now, sea travel is a bit...imprecise...and then there is customs (even more so), followed by truck delivery to our warehouse. So here is what I CAN tell you: books are projected to arrive sometime between December 14 and 21, three weeks later than we originally hoped, but I think the last minute design corrections and binding upgrade were worth it!
So a few questions you may have:
1. Will I have this for Christmas? Err...well...maybe? As soon as the books are warehoused (add a day from when they arrive here) we will start shipping, and are shipping Priority Mail, so if they are here by the 17th or 18th, chances are good. However, signed copies need to first get signed by me, then sent to Tom Leoni, then to their new homes, which is going to add at least a week at the best of times. I wish I could say it was otherwise, but a delivery by the 24th is unlikely. Not impossible, but unlikely.
2. I also have physical copies of xyz coming. When will I get those? Posters, print copies of the Sala Edition or color copies of Armizare will all be shipping, at the same time, in the same box as Volume One, so you'll get a big box of Fiore love all at once. Obviously, later volumes of the series themselves will ship as they become available.
3. What about shirts and bandannas? Shirts should have all shipped from the printer, while bandannas are forthcoming in the next week or so. If you HAVE NOT received your shirt by week's end, please contact us directly.
OK, that's what we know right now! More details soon.

I guess the title is the give away, but my birthday present arrived a day late (Nov 7), when I found a thick FedEx package on my door with the advance copies of Flowers of Battle, Volume One! At long last, this book physically exists.
With my lovely wife's assistance, I shot a quick video flip-through of the book so everyone can see what it is they've joined in to make real. In the meantime, this means that the remaining copies will be loading on a ship and setting sail for the USA NEXT WEEK!
You can see the flip through video below, and our next update should be news of the book's arrival at our warehouse.

OK, last time we told you all about approving the plotter proofs -- now we have seen the final page proofs, and everything is gorgeous.
For those of you wondering "what the heck is the difference", the plotter proofs are where we see a digital print of everything to check colors, make sure the pages are all in the right order, the bleeds are good etc. What we received today is literally an unbound copy of the book, run on a press, on the same paper etc. It is exactly what the book will be, just sans binding.
And if I can gush a little...wow...it looks like the printer will really do a great job on this. I've already Fed Exed the proofs back, so they will be in Hong Kong on Monday and...it looks like the books print next week!
More when we know it, but for now, a picture is worth a thous and words...

Hi All,
Just a quick note: we have confirmation that the books are printing at the start of next week (Hong Kong has holidays running through most of the week), after which they board a hopefully not-so-slow boat from China. So step by step we progress!
